The model ´Basic-Comfort´ offers an additional throat strap, for even more effective hold, infinitely adjustable in different sizes and colors.

Range of application and advantages:
The AS feed regulator effectively regulates the feed intake, leaving the horses maximum space to breathe in the area of the nostrils.
The AS-Food Regulator consists of an extra strong plastic floor with slits, surrounded by soft and hard-wearing quality cowhide leather and is characterized by easy handling: It is fastened by an infinitely adjustable fabric strap with a 'click fastener'.
When feeding, the horse places the ground on the grass and pulls or plucks it through the slits. This promotes slow eating and thorough salivation of the food. The pasture can thus be extended. Horses with too much appetite do not have to be constantly separated from the herd when grazing. This makes them more satisfied and balanced. Hay feeding is also possible.
Drinking from tubs or buckets is also not a difficulty, but with some self-drinking it can lead to problems.
The AS-Food Regulator is ideal for grazing in spring and when changing to lush pastures.
The acclimatisation phase is unusually short, most horses or ponies learn very quickly to deal with this eating brake.
Duration of use:
In order to enable the horses to have natural and important social contact, it is advisable to maintain a healthy and balanced level of ´muzzle free time´ . Grazing time: approx. 4-6 hours (the time is best estimated by the horse owner and/or veterinarian).
Teeth:
A regular check of the teeth is important, as there is now a plastic plate between the lining and the teeth at the feeding brake.
In addition to the dental examinations, we strongly recommend a monthly dental check by the horse owner.
***Instruction***
The distance between the feed regulator and the head should be large enough to allow your horse/pony to chew without restriction!
a) The length of the neck strap is infinitely adjustable.
b) The distance between the underside of the mouth and the base plate should be approx. 1 cm.
c) Choose whether you want to close 1, 2 or 3 press studs.
d) Use the Velcro fastener to open and close.

Measure size:
Please measure the mouth of your pony. The size XS is suitable for the very small (Mini)Shetty´s. If your Shetty does not have the very small typical Minishetty head, you need the size S.

This size is suitable for Shetties and Ponies up to a stick size of approx. 135 cm. (There are exceptions of course)
